My journey into photography started in the 1980's.  I had the opportunity to learn film based photography in a variety of film formats (35mm, medium and large format).  At the turn of the century I made the transition into digital photography.  My passion is portrait photography and restoring old photographs.  When I am not making or restoring old photographs, I spend time with my best friend Kim (my wife), traveling and geeking out on all things Open Source (i.e. Linux, Darktable, Gimp).
